Constructed in 1882 and renovated in 2006, this luxury hotel comprises a total of nine rooms, of which two are suites, spread across two buildings. It was designed by the architect Josep Fontseré I Mestres, mentor of the world-famous Antoní Gaudí, in a modern colonial style. The hotel is surrounded by sprawling gardens with waterfalls, lakes, and small streams, and is altogether a joy to the senses. The lobby area offers a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, and a currency exchange counter. Additional facilities at this air-conditioned establishment include a cafe, a hairdresser, a bar, and a restaurant with highchairs available for children. Moreover, there are conference facilities in addition to a public Internet connection with W-LAN access. Room and laundry services are also available along with medical assistance (charges apply). This hotel is located in the village of Xerta, in the immediate vicinity of the centre and links to the public transport network. A range of shops, restaurants, and bars can be found around 500 m from the hotel, while the beach is located around 30 km away. Guests will reach Reus airport in some 80 km, with Barcelona airport approximately 200 km away.
The rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. Further fittings include a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a hi-fi, and an Internet connection. In addition, a minibar, individually adjustable heating and air conditioning, a hire safe, and either a balcony or terrace are also provided in all accommodation units as standard.
