Located in Catalunya in the North of Spain, Torremirona Golf Course lies at the centre of a plain providing stunning views of the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is not a wide course but excellent for big hitters, especially on 2 of the more demanding par 4`s.
The course provides several surprises requiring extra concentration, like at the par 3 10th with water to the left or another par 3, the 15th, with an elevated green. Torremirona is a versatile course in that the more experienced golfer has the chance to attack the pin if they play straight, while the inexperienced, high handicap golfer has a number of options to get around the course without an excessive risk taking. The location of the course provides magnificent light and colours from the natural setting. It is virtually a flat course and is quite easyto play on. For the beginner there is a golf school offering a large variety of lessons; beginners; advanced; collective;packages; gren car; and technical equipment. The golf school also offers video and swing analyzer are also available. This golf school, allowed by the Calalonian Golf Federation, allows you to obtain your handicap certificate. There are excellent practice facilities including bunker, putting and approaching areas; a completely flat and wide 350m driving range; and 3 holes practice (2 x par 4; 1 x par 3).
TorreMirona Golf Club is to be found in Navata, Catalunya in the North of Spain close to the town of Figueres approximately 40 mins north of Girona Airport.
