Information

Full Board Salou Benidorm Barcelona Madrid Hotels

Full board is also offered by many luxury 4 and 5 star hotels in Barcelona and Madrid (a selection are listed here on Iknow Spain for Full Board Barcelona and Madrid Hotels).

The Spanish Mediterranean resort all inclusive hotels in locations such as Salou and Benidorm offering full board tend to offer a buffet styled service, as with half board. With this arrangement you get flexibility, with meals running over a set number of hours, usually for breakfast from 7am to 10am, lunch 12noon until 2pm and evening meal 7pm to 10pm (times may vary dependent on your chosen accommodation). As you enter dining rooms you'll usually be checked off a list by waiter staff, but things are fairly informal usually and it's a case of helping yourself to what you want. Standards are usually high with hotel accommodations graded 3 star and above, with a choice of cooked hot food and cold salads and deserts. Drinks are usually not inclusive and you'll have to purchase these separately usually via waiter service.

Restaurants with full board service are usually now non smoking in Spanish hotels now. A choice of local and international cuisine is usually offered, with vegetarians well catered for on extensive salad bar buffets. Bar snacks will also be available through much of the day. For families and holidaymakers on tight budgets visiting Spanish budget resorts such as Benidorm, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Salou and Lloret de Mar it's well worth considering a full-board, all-inclusive option as often so much more is included as well as standard meal service which all serves to save money. Examples of extras can include things like free all day ice creams, free all day soft drinks, afternoon tea and coffee and of course all the leisure facilities on your complex.
