Valencia Airport sits just 8 km west of Valencia City Centre, making a city break in Valencia easy and accessible. Valencia's weather is mild all year round, with mean temperature 17 degrees centigrade. Temperatures rarely drop below 10 degrees centigrade, and generally only light rainfall arrives during the autumn period (although in October 2007 into November, Valencia and the Costa Blanca coast did experience some heavy rain and flooding, which was unexpected and not typical).
