If you're looking for a pleasantly quiet Costa del Sol East resort base, with a fine long Paseo Maritimo, good resort facilities and a long and wide accessible beach then Torre Del Mar is perfect.
Torre Del Mar has a distinctly Spanish feel about it. One of the most relaxing of the Costa Del Sol resorts, facilities are good including a charming town centre, wide paseo maritimo (one of Torre del Mar's best features) and an endless and quiet beach.
Relaxing Costa del Sol beach holidays are on the menu here, plus the beach is particularly accessible off the Passeo Maritimo, so excellent for visitors with mobility issues.
The town has two open air swimming pools, a Nautical and Yacht club and a sports complex.
Torre del Mar serves as a nice quiet relaxing base, yet with easy access to busier cultural and resort hotspots including Nerja, Velez-Malaga, Malaga city, Granada and more. Costa Del Sol car hire is recommended if based here if you want to push out further and explore the Andalucia region.
