The furthest south of the Mediterranean Costas, Costa Del Sol and Torremolinos offer around 300 to 320 guaranteed days of bright sunshine annually with a mean temperature of 18 degrees centigrade, and peak temperatures in high season (June to September) up in the late 20s centigrade and frequently into the 30s. The Costa Del Sol coast benefits from the Med's cooling sea breezes, so temperatures in peak season are less oppressive than Andalucian inland locations. Torremolinos benefits from the shelter of the Sierra de Mijas mountains.
Cheap golf holidays in Spain don't come much better than the Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola area. Numerous Costa Del Sol Golf courses are close to Torremolinos including a choice around nearby Malaga, plus more Costa Del Sol golf around Benalmadena and Mijas Golf galore near Fuengirola.
Outside of the peak summer months of June, July, August and September (when rain is unheard of and temperatures sit around 28/29 degrees centigrade and sometimes higher) you've superb cooler springtime and autumn-time temperatures in both May and October. These are great months for visitors looking to explore the Costa Del Sol further afield either by car rental or excursions. For full on traditional and guaranteed sunshine beach holidays in Torremolinos choose one of the peak summer months.

You're on Europe's golf coast here on the Costa Del Sol, and Torremolinos is a superb base for accessing a host of nearby Costa Del Sol golf courses at Malaga, Mijas and Benalmadena. If you've a car you can push further afield for more Costa Del Sol golf at Estepona, Marbella and Sotogrande too.
The nearest golf courses to Torremolinos is the Costa Del Sol's oldest Parador Malaga Old Course, an 18 hole/Par 72 golf course dating from 1925. It sits close to Malaga (easy access from Malaga Airport) and offers a mix of parkland and links holes with seawater lagoons. Popular with all levels of golfer, Parador golf course is what you make it and can be a fast moving green. A restaurant, pro shop and bar plus driving range and putting green are all on-site.
